Greetings Smuggs Family!

My name is Matt McCawley, and you’ll be seeing my name pop up more frequently here on The Views from the Notch. This May, after many years of service for numerous departments, I started in a new role in Marketing, as the Content Media Specialist. I’ll be working on bringing Smuggs to life through creative content, and waist-deep resort knowledge. I’m excited to start sharing more updates and helpful info primarily tailored for our in-house guests, but any and all who wish to follow, please by all means, tag along. You can expect a few posts each week featuring:

A little more background on me, I was born in Vermont, raised right here in Jeffersonville, and have been skiing at Smuggs for nearly 40 years. I currently live locally with my wife Kate and our 6 year-old boy/girl twins, Micah and Cassidy, who already share our love for outdoor adventures. You will also almost certainly see those two in future marketing campaigns, as they will work for a mini-Hersey bar and a couple Sour Patch Kids.

Of course, Hugh Johnson, and his unforgettable smile and laugh will be back for winter reporting. I’ll be too busy then anyway, skiing all the places he says are good.

Looking forward to connecting with you all, let’s make the most of our days in the Notch!

Cheers, The post Allow Myself to Introduce… Myself appeared first on Smugglers’ Notch Resort Vermont.

Greetings Smuggs Family!
